We are now less than a week away from the Super Bowl now. And, YOU need to start thinking about your menu…
Truth be told, Super Bowl parties can be dangerous if you don’t have a plan.
For some reason, everyone gets busy cooking all of the full fat, rich, decadent man food they can find… buffalo everything, topped with a little more buffalo and extra cheese, served on a chip.
And… I love ALL THAT FOOD, but I also know that this type of food doesn’t serve me well. I feel gross the next day, and the scale fights back. It’s just not worth it.
So, in typical NTTC style, I’ve got some healthier alternatives to recommend for you for this fabulous football Sunday.
DISCLAIMER: I’m not much of a football fan, but when the home team hits the Super Bowl and is led by a kid from Tennessee… you know I’m all over it!
Here are a few of my favorite appetizer-style recipes that I think would be perfect for the Super Bowl. Pick your favorites and let’s get cooking! Click on any of the images to be re-directed to the recipes.
And, if you know me… I’m always trying a new dish. It’s rare for me to make the same thing twice. So, I thought I’d give you a peek at what I have my eyes on for this Super Bowl. I found this dish on Google Images, and plan to use my guacamole recipe (the best ever that I got from my friend Marissa) and serve it up like this! I’ll share all the details once it’s made!
