CURRENT COLORADO BEAUTY

The sunsets in Colorado never disappoint… and this month was more of the same.

The fall colors also contributed to the beauty of this gorgeous state, including this tree I spotted at Wash Park last weekend. Just breathtaking…

CURRENT WEIGHT LOSS UPDATE

There’s been a lot of focus this month (and for the past seven weeks!) on weight loss, and I’m thrilled to report the program is working well! Clocking in with a -5.2 lb weight loss this month… and so excited to see what November holds.

CURRENT HALLOWEEN HOME IMPROVEMENT EFFORT

Last month, I mentioned in my currently post that I was doing an upgrade at my home in October, and I did it! I finally upgraded my metal mini blinds in my home to plantation shutters. CURRENT MEAL PREP TOOL

I found these snack bags at Target and I highly recommend them! They have portion control lines drawn on the bags, allowing you to measure out how much snack you’d like in each (1/2 cup, 1 cup, etc!)

CURRENT BINGE WATCHING

I’m re-watching Gossip Girl again. I love watching a show that I don’t have to stay glued to… and there’s just something about that Mother Chucker… If you’ve never had the pleasure, you should.

CURRENT BEAUTY FIND

I’ll confess, I like some of the Kylie Cosmetics lip colors. I tried this trio called the “Sorta Sweet Trio ” this month. Not only do I love all the colors, but it’s on sale! Two mattes and a glittery gloss… and pure perfection.

CURRENT FESTIVE EVENING

I don’t usually celebrate Halloween very festively, but when I saw that Pumpkin Nights was coming to Denver, I knew I wanted to go. The Facebook marketing tied to the event sucked me in and it looked amazing. Amazing, on paper. Made for social media, this event is a no-go if it comes to your town next year. Trust me.

CURRENT SOUTHERN ADVENTURE

Did I tell y’all I spent a few days in Louisville this month? Not only did I see a dear friend get married to the most loving man… but I also tried my first bourbon and visited the home of Louisville Slugger!

CURRENT FAVORITE BLOWOUT

I love a good blowout (and pretty much anytime someone else does my hair for me.) For the fabulous wedding in Kentucky, I decided to go with a Drybar “Old Fashioned” blowout, which gives you Old Hollywood Glam like none other. It’s officially my new favorite look at Drybar… and I can’t wait to get it again for a special occasion.

CURRENT MASSAGE EXPERIENCE

On my way back to Denver and after the wedding, I drove to Nashville to see my friend Jaede (who I haven’t seen in TWO YEARS apparently.) She scheduled us a pair of foot massages at Bucca Reflexology in Nashville. An hour foot rub the day after a wedding (and wearing high heels) was *just* what the doctor ordered. And, it was amazing to see this one as well…
