During my time in Chicago with Laurel in February, I had my first encounter with frozen bananas. I’ve always kept my overripe bananas in the freezer until I was ready to make banana bread.
I’d never even considered adding them to smoothies… but now that I have, I just can’t stop.
With a little help from my Ninja blender, this shake comes together quickly… and is filling and satisfying. I almost think it ends up being a second dessert for the day (Jenny Craig Triple Chocolate Cheesecake being the first, of course.)
PB2-Chocolate-Banana Smoothie
Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
1 Jenny Craig Chocolate Dream Shake
1/2 medium banana, frozen
2 Tbsp. PB2 powdered peanut butter
1 cup ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
