Four Days in Vegas – Part II

My co-worker and dear friend Crystal is a big fan of working out and does Crossfit in San Diego, so she was a great motivator for me to get my butt to the gym.

Funny story:  I am so clueless before 6 in the morning.  Actually, I suppose I’m just asleep before 6 in the morning.  We went to the gym and I worked out on the elliptical between the president of our company and one of my co-workers from the Northeast.  Yeah… I had no idea they were even there.  Allegedly, my NE counterpart said he tried to say hello… but I was totally in the zone and paid no attention.  HA!

Three mornings working out…. Even the morning after we had cocktails at the Bellagio.  Between us friends, I was very likely sweating rum that morning, but I still made it!!

GOOD TIMES IN VEGAS

Not only did we have great working sessions during the day for 2012 planning, but we also had a lot of time to visit which is so nice.  The people I work with are fantastic.  New faces, old faces… I just love them all.  They make me laugh and make my world a little better.

VEGAS FASHION

When I got to the airport to fly to Las Vegas, I was literally flabbergasted that the bag that I had packed was reading 41 lbs.  For all the gear I had packed and the fact that I had prepped for multiple costume changes each day, I’m shocked that the bag was underweight.

Just the same, I took a few pics of outfits I wore in Vegas for your viewing pleasure… most of my shopping happened right before the trip, so it’s out there in stores right now.  Good times, folks!

Day One of Meetings

It’s super-hard to get good pictures of clothes that you’re wearing when you’re the one taking the pics. (My apologies for the bathroom shots, LP!)  I picked this top up at New York and Company and paired it with black pants.  Cute, cute!

Day Two of Meetings

I picked this top up at Nordstrom Rack.  You can’t tell by the pic… but it’s green with white polka dots.  Loved it!

Day Three of Meetings

Not sure why the lighting is so weird on this one… but how about those RED PANTS??  I loved them!  I haven’t worn colored pants (other than black or grey) since I was a little girl… the red ones were a lot of fun.  They’re from New York and Company and the black and white polka dotted top came from White House Black Market.

And…  there were many other looks, as you can see from the event pics.

Overall, it was a really great week with really great people.  And, a lovely sneak preview of what’s to come during my next trip to Vegas.  I only saw the strip for a few moments… looking forward to seeing more of it in June at Angela’s wedding!
