Summer is my favorite, and there’s TONS going on Currently… so, here you go….

Current Location:

I’m at Fitbloggin’, y’all! And, it’s right here in Denver! Woo hoo! Can’t wait to tell you guys all about it next week!

Current Book:

I’ve started reading Elin Hildebrand’s new book – The Rumor. I’m a huge fan of her books, and loving this one!

Current Snack:

Raw beets. I’m obsessed! I picked up a few at the Farmers Market last week, and they are just the BEST in fresh dip. Crunchy and sweet… try them!

Current Song:

I’m loving the new Maroon 5 song… because in a weird way, I think it’s my summer theme song. Just the title, because I’ve got SO MUCH going on this summer. It may end up hurting a bit…

Current Midwest Excitement:

I am completely excited for my weekend in Milwaukee with Kohl’s… and my best friends! We’re just a few weeks away at this point, and I need to finish the tutus… but overall, I’m just plain excited!

I also have a few friends from the area that will be joining us for the Color Run too! Can’t wait to see everyone!

Current Work Excitement:

I’m heading to Hollywood, y’all! So, I am once again competing in my company’s annual Rockstar competition. I’ve advanced to the finals in California at the end of July!

I’m excited to compete, spend time with friends… and they have yet to announce the band who will perform at the private concert. What if it’s this lady??? #OMG

Current Appetizer Obsession:

I took an amazing cooking class this week hosted by my dear friend Marisa who blogs over at Uproot From Oregon (follow her here, y’all!). Her class focused upon easy, healthy appetizers that you can put together for a crowd… and that’s where I met these beauties. O-M-G!

That’s fresh balsamic walnut butter, atop an apple slice, with a little manchego. Let’s not stop there, and we should go ahead and top it with dried cranberries and a little balsamic drizzle. It’s the stuff food dreams are made of…

Current Nail Color:

This month, I’ve been all about peachy-coral colors. I’m rocking a darker color on my toes, but Essie Peach Side Babe has been on my nails for a while… love this color!
