My Fitbloggin friends have been posting pictures of charred roasted whole head cauliflower for the past year. It looked strange to me, but everyone seemed to cheer with excitement when they’d see the latest head of cauliflower.
When Alan posted a pic of his latest charred veggie, I knew that it was time. With a snowy weekend and nothing but chick flicks on the agenda, I decided to make my very first roasted head of cauliflower, and it looked a little something like this.
This dish totally blew me away. First of all, I don’t think there could be an easier dish to prepare… very little preparation, and just an hour in the oven. The oven really does all the work…
And then, when it’s done, the flavor is AWESOME! The edges of the cauliflower get crispy while the rest of it gets beautifully tender. Uh-mazing! Try this….
