When I flipped the calendar to 2015, I had a whopping 27 extra pounds to lose. This extra weight accumulated over the past two years, and it was time for it to go.
Six weeks in, things have gone REALLY well, and I’m 1/3 of the way to my goal! I’m super thrilled with the results and so ready to celebrate!
I can’t thank y’all enough for what you shared, and the fun inspiration it gave me for this list. PS… If you’re not following NTTC on FB, click here.
Taking your suggestions into account, I’ve come up with the following rewards program! I’m setting rewards for every five pounds (and then seven in the end) to keep myself engaged in the process. Let’s do this!
1st Goal: 5 lbs. – Whitening Trays
My first rewards program included an in-office whitening treatment. While I was excited to reach that 75-pound loss threshold, I was only slightly pleased with the service. I don’t think my teeth are off-color, but I do think that they could be whiter and brighter!
That being said, I treated myself to a whitening treatment for my first 5 lbs. lost. I’ve already achieved this goal several weeks ago… so these bad boys are on order!
2nd Goal: 10 lbs. – New Water Cups
I’ve recently realized that I love drinking water out of straw cups. I have two right now from Starbucks, and Swoozies here in town has a bunch of cute ones. I am dying to have a few more so that I can use a different one every day of the work week.
That being said, I’m so close to 10 lbs… I picked these up over the weekend!
3rd Goal: 15 lbs. – Cute Workout Outfit
I really love cute workout clothes, and since I haven’t been working out much (due to my stupid back injury) I’d still love something adorable to get me back to the gym.
Reward three will be for new duds from one of my favorite stores for gear (Fabletics, Athleta, or Lulu)… The outfit is still TBD… but that one above is pretty darn cute!
4th Goal: 20 lbs. – One Fabulous Facial
I love spa treatments… and I really try to take care of my skin. For my 20 lb. reward, I’m getting a wonderful facial with my favorite aesthetician Sam.
Plain and simple, I’ll be spending an hour on the table being buffed, scrubbed, and moisturized… and I can’t wait!
5th Goal: 27 lbs. – A Pretty Piece of Jewelry
Oh, this will be the second time I said I get jewelry at goal. I have something special in mind, and I’m going to keep it to myself for now. Let’s just say that it will commemorate this journey, and I can’t wait to wear it!
How are you rewarding your weight loss journey’s landmarks? What did I miss?
