Coming home from Vegas is always a little weird, if you ask me.
There are so many people EVERYWHERE, and it seems to be another city that never sleeps. Then, you get home…. and it’s so so quiet. Really bizarre.
Let me tell you though… we had such a BLAST this weekend! It was action-packed with a VERY full agenda, but we got to just about everything we wanted to do during the trip. Good times!
My travel companion for this trip was my dear, dear friend Jaede. We’ve been friends for like 17 years now…. went to college together, have worked together for many years. We’re just like two peas in a pod. I can’t tell you how nice it was to spend the weekend catching up. It was really a treat for both of us.
OUR HOTEL
Truth be told, I’m a little obsessed with the place we stayed. I mean, how could I not be??
It’s in the new(er) City Center area, right between Aria and Bellagio. The bride and groom stayed at Caesar’s… so we spent a lot of time going back and forth. I think we were in the perfect location… and it was so incredibly cozy on the inside.
When we arrived, we even got upgraded to a terrace suite which meant that we would also have a balcony. Score! Per the hotel staff, the Cosmopolitan is the only hotel in Vegas that has balconies off their guest rooms. We definitely loved it.
Also, when you think of the name Cosmopolitan, you know that it has to be modern and posh in decor. And, it definitely was…

We loved these cool pillars in the lobby… they changed appearance as the day went on. This design was my favorite, for sure.
You also would expect that they would have a fantastic Cosmopolitan drink… and let me assure you, they did NOT disappoint.
We had a few Cosmos over the course of the trip, and most of them we enjoyed from the Chandelier Bar. The Chandelier bar in the hotel is built inside of the World’s Largest Chandelier. Allegedly, this chandelier was certified by Guiness’ and everything!
We REALLY loved this place, and I’d love to stay here again next time I’m in Vegas. It’s just fabulous.
THE WEDDING
Now, I didn’t just go to Vegas to see a hotel… I went there to see one of my besties get married. I’ll share a little more about the wedding over the next few days. Stay tuned!
