I am notorious for spending time on Instagram. How can you not love that app?
Since I take pictures of just about everything in my life, I also find myself posting a gazillion pics. I’ve found that I post many, many food pics (guilty), and it’s also a super-fun place to post pictures from shopping trips and travels.
Just an example… my latest Instagram post.
Cute-cute Octoberfest dress (called a Dirndl) that I found for an Octoberfest-themed rehearsal dinner I’ll be attending next month. (Note: I use a Windows phone, so IG looks a little different here.)
And, not only do I spend a lot of time posting, but I also love to check out what others are posting. As a matter of fact, I found today’s recipe on Instagram.
I met the fabulous @WellofHealth at Fitbloggin this year and have been a long-time follower of hers on social media. I was thrilled to be introduced to these amazing brussels sprouts from Powercakes, and I immediately got hungry when I saw the picture. (That’s a downside of looking at Instagram when you’re hungry for sure!)
However, if you follow the right people, you can get a BUNCH of healthy recipe ideas from IG. If you’re not following me yet on Instagram, click here to do so… healthy recipes and food ideas to follow. And, shopping ideas… lots of shopping ideas. 🙂
