I’ve been working from home for almost two weeks now. Before I moved home, there were a sea of pretty pink boxes showing up in our office from our newest retail neighbor: Crumbl Cookies.
To know Crumbl Cookie is truly to love Crumbl cookie. Their dense, chewy, WARM cookies are a favorite in our office and I totally get why. My favorite of the bunch: Their chilled sugar cookie. It is TO.DIE.FOR. Imagine a chilled sugar cookie topped with swirly, sweet pink icing. The secret ingredient? It’s almond flavor. I know…
A side benefit of being quarantined is that I no longer have access to these cookies on a nearly daily basis, nor sweet coworkers who buy one to split with me. They are so hard to say no to! Trust me!
In my time working from home (and likely going through withdrawals), I came up with an idea to make a Jenny Craig shake that might have the same flavor profile as this cookie. And, with just a few easy additions, I think I nailed it.
If you haven’t tried the new powdered Jenny Craig protein shakes, they’re really incredible. The vanilla is my favorite, and if you blend them with a little ice and water, they take on a true milkshake consistency. I’d describe them as thick, creamy and frothy. Mmmmm….
