My friend Bev had a birthday bash over the weekend, and as usual, I couldn’t show up empty-handed.
While I had a few salads and slaws come to mind to bring, I remembered a ridiculously delicious sangria I tried at a party with friends last year. I knew I needed to make it immediately!
The ingredient list is lengthy, but this amazing beverage comes together in no time! Be sure to make it the night before, so it has time to combine.
I’d definitely recommend having a large container available to hold the sangria, or you can always make half the recipe. Needless to say, I brought home an empty container from the party. It was a huge hit!
Summertime Sangria
From All Recipes
INGREDIENTS
4 bottles moscato wine
48 oz. 7-Up
1 cup peach schnapps
1 cup brandy
2 kiwi, peeled and sliced
2 peaches, pitted and sliced
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine all liquid ingredients in a large container and stir to combine.
2. Chop the fruit to be added to the sangria.
3. Add fruit to the container and stir to combine. Note: You can use just about any fruits you’d like in this sangria. This fruit was on sale at Sprouts this week so I added them to the batch!
4. Store in the refrigerator overnight and enjoy!
I had a label to add to the bottle, and typed up a little card to add to the the sangria before whisking it away to the party. Found this little accessory at Crate and Barrel a few years back, and it was great to bust it out of the wrapper for my dear friend Bev.
Pretty sure this has become my summertime beverage of choice… Enjoy!
