Thank GOODNESS it’s the weekend! It’s gotten suddenly chilled in Colorado, and my Mountains have snow on them! I’m spending the evening in tonight, behaving myself on weigh-in eve and doing some of the boring chores that weigh down my weekends.
ONE: I Often Have to Try It
I’ve become a pretty heavy blog-reader since I’ve started NTTC about a year ago. I love reading about other healthy living bloggers and what’s going on in their lives. I’m often inspired to try new things as a result of their writing – – food, recipes, clothing, and this time candles! Julie at Peanut Butter Fingers has inspired me ONCE again! She posted this week that she found an awesome candle at Yankee Candle that was perfect for fall.
After smelling candles today at Yankee, I settled on this yummy one… Pumpkin Buttercream! Thanks, Julie, for the shopping inspiration!
TWO: I’m Missing the Big Reveal (Sniff!)
I love living out West, but sometimes there’s super special events that I miss out on.
My dear friend Jen (whose picnic wedding I featured earlier this year) is EXPECTING! And, in true Jennie fashion, she’s having a fabulous reveal party to reveal the sex of the baby.
I really wish I could be there to celebrate, but I kind of enjoy that she called me on Tuesday to tell me ahead of time. She’s having a…..
THREE: Five Pants Sizes
That’s quite the before pic. Even now, no behind pics! |
I am officially down FIVE pants sizes. So unbelievable. When I started with Jenny, I was a 22. NOW, I’m a 14! I bought a pair of pants at White House Black Market on clearance that I figured I would shrink into. Well, I tried them on this week, and they FIT! I knew my 16s were getting a little baggy too, so maybe I need to start looking at 14s when I’m out! Woo hoo!
PS… My goal size is a 12. So, I’m getting close!
FOUR: I really want a great weigh-in tomorrow
It’s Weigh-In Eve, and this morning, the scale looked fantastic! However, I remember the same thing being true last week. And, since last week, I’ve done pretty well. Despite the 1000+ calories in Cosmos that I drank, I feel like the scale is going to look great tomorrow. STAY TUNED!
