Onion Soup Beef Burgers | No Thanks to Cake
This recipe is a blast-from-the-past for me, as it's how my mom used to make burgers when I was a kid.
- 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 1 packet Lipton’s Onion Soup Mix
- 1 Tbsp. reduced sodium Worcestershire Sauce
- cooking spray
- salt and pepper
Combine soup mix, worcestershire sauce, and beef in a bowl. Mix with your hands until all the ingredients are combined well.
Divide the meat into four parts (about 4 oz each) and form into patties.
Season each burger lightly with salt and pepper and cook your burgers in the way you prefer: grill, skillet, broiler – – the options are endless! Cook to your preferred temperature. I cooked mine in a George Foreman grill since my condo complex has outlawed grills recently. I tend to prefer my burgers a little more well done than most. It’s your burger – – make it your favorite way!
Serve and enjoy!
