Summer has arrived in Colorado. It’s blazing hot, and all that rain that we’ve been experiencing has vanished from the forecast.
What that means is that it is officially my favorite time of year!! I love everything about summer – – warm days, watermelon, tan lines, the smell of grills cooking in my neighborhood. I just adore this time of year!
When summer comes, it becomes even more important that you stay hydrated. Colorado is known for its dry climate, and it is VERY easy to get dehydrated if you don’t watch yourself. Heed the warning, my fellow Fitbloggin attendees who are here in Denver right now!
Water tends to be my favorite beverage, hands down. I’ll choose it most days over any other drink… including wine and cocktails. Every once in a while, I love a good flavored water. Not of the artificial or bubbly varieties, but water flavored with fresh herbs, fruits, and veggies.
Here’s the latest combination I tried…
This batch was inspired by my recent trip to the South Pearl Farmers’ Market. I had picked up some strawberries for Hailey and I to snack on, but we didn’t end up eating them. So, on this hot, hot day ice-cold, flavored, delicious water seemed like a wonderful idea…
